Watchd ("the App", "we", "us") is a movie and TV show tracker for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how. The short version: Watchd does not have user accounts, does not track you, shows no ads, and keeps your data on your device.

1. Summary (the short version)
- No account, no sign-up, no login.
- We don't collect your name, email, phone, location, contacts or any personal identifiers on our servers.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no IDFA.
- Your library, watch progress, ratings, preferences and optional display name are stored only on your device.
- To show movie and TV data, the App sends your search text and title requests to The Movie Database (TMDB), a third-party catalog service.
- You can erase all of your data at any time inside the App, or by deleting the App.

3. Information stored on your device only
The following is created and stored locally on your iPhone (using Apple's on-device storage) and is never transmitted to us:
- Your library: movies and shows you add, watch statuses, watched episodes, ratings and notes.
- An optional display name you may enter during onboarding (you can leave it blank).
- App preferences: theme, content language, notification toggle, view settings.
